Terri Towelling was founded in 2012 by the lovely Terri-Jane Harris. Only 17 at the time, she had spotted a flaw in the world of hairdressing supplies. She noticed that good quality salon towels were only supplied by a handful of companies. With a monopoly on the market, they tended to be overpriced and often lacked in the customer service department.
Terri wanted to change this and so she worked hard to create a company that would challenge these bigger businesses. Ahead of everything, she wanted the client to feel valued and important, so that they would continue to choose her luxury towels above others. Customer service has always played an important part in her business, while fast delivery and low prices ensure great value towels for hairdressers.
Of course, the product had to delight the client as well. Crafted to the highest quality, they are made to last, able to withstand regular salon use and washing. She has even created a line of completely bleach proof towels, so that they always look brand new. Terri is also delighted to be able to offer a personalization service on larger orders, so that salons can ensure strong branding throughout their products.
A spotlight has been shone on the wasteful nature of the textiles industry with recent environmental concerns, but at Terri Towelling we are proud to say that we are always working to reduce our impact. One of the ways in which we do this is with our eco-friendly towels. Made from the waste scraps from the manufacturing process, they are just as soft and luxurious as our other towels, but have an extra uniqueness about them that is incredibly charming!
Constant hard work and belief in the product has paid off and now Terri Towelling is one of the fastest growing companies in the sector. The last seven years have been great, and we have loved every minute of our journey.
